Physical Therapy
Anyone who is affected by RSD would say that the goal in any kind of treatment is Pain Relief! While there are various routes to take in ones attempt to reach this goal, no one route should be taken alone. We suggest seeking the advice of a trained Physical Therapist in an attempt to keep your affected areas as strong and useable as possible.
A physical therapist may get you doing a regimented exercise routine, they may offer exercises to reduce the risk of muscle atrophy and fatigue. They may offer T.E.N.S. Machine therapy, MagnaTens therapy, or even massage therapy.
While nothing works for everyone, many things are at least worth looking into. We suggest asking your general doctor for a referral to a physical therapist so you can discuss what options are available to you!
In time we hope to have a lot more valuable information regarding these types of treatment. Please check back often to see the progress on this page. Thanks!
