Just to let you all know, I am a caregiver. My husband has had RSD for over 3 years. It's very difficult sometimes! If you ever need to talk, I'm here!

hi there, my names jason. i'm the co-founder of USARSD.org and the forum admin here as well....

i myself have RSD so i could only give advice from an RSD perspective....but ill try to think up some stuff....i'll also talk w/nik (my best friend and the other co-founder) as he doesn't have RSD but we are best friends so he could better relate to your position....

so give me a few days....i'll get back to ya! meantime, welcome....im glad you found us....hope u stick around and hope you find the info useful (for both you and your husband) please dont hesitate to chime in anywhere....we can probably learn from you and vice versa...

Welcome to the forum.

Encourage him to log on to a support forum like this one. Having people who understand his condition may help alleviate some of the anger and depression he's feeling.

Does he see some sort of counselor about his anger and depression? This could also help him emotionally. I would also encourage you to see some sort of counselor. They will help you find ways to cope, and will keep you grounded when it gets difficult to deal with.

Also, like Jason said, I hope you stick around here. Having a place to vent for you, as well as friends who have an understanding for what you are both going through is really important to coping with RSD.
